I love life and love to create moments that simply are a mark in history. I am so blessed to have found this town of Effingham and clients from all over Mattoon, Charleston, IL, Flora, Altamont that cherish my work. My approach to business is simple, 

Let us tell your story...is a key phrase I've been using for seven years now. My goal is to simply create meaningful memories through pictures

that no one else around can. 

I truly believe that some of the most cherished moments can be found right within your own backyard in junk piles. Where others see junk, I see beauty and wonder. My goal with each session is to create more then just a moment, but a memory that you can reflect back on for years to come by looking at your photos. I want to catch the hidden glances between our incredible families as they look at their portraits on their walls knowing they have raised their children well. I want to be there to capture a your child's genuine laughter, and we want to capture our Seniors celebrating their "lasts" as they get ready to continue on their life's adventures to college. Ultimately, I want to create your story, in a way that is authentic and true to who you are and to truly create a story that unfolds our clients most cherished days. We have created a movement in celebrating life and are blessed to share in some of the most memorable moments with so many amazing people!

Nathan's passion and energy come from a genuine place and you can see/feel it in his interactions with others. The exciting part about that energy is that it is mixed with some serious wisdom about photography and how to run a business. I recently attended one of his sports photography conferences and his teaching was not only powerful for the class, but for the individual. He took time between setups to connect with me and ask for my reactions and takeaways. I have a handful of tangible tasks to implement into my Studio immediately. Oh and don't let me forget his gifts of humor and encouragement. He had me rolling for 3 days and mixed that with a steady stream of positive and life-giving affirmations. Getting a chance to learn from "Loker" is golden.

My daughter had the opportunity through Jansens Dance Center to have her art captured this past Saturday morning; the result was breathtaking! We both share a passion for artistic images, especially ones that involve her passion which is dance! We follow several Instagram pages that create such images...LOKER PHOTOGRAPHY nailed it. We didn't doubt they wouldn't as we had seen other dance images created for a fellow team dancer and Loker Rep Whittni Cotton. Elizabeth has admired those each time she's went into the studio this year! To have the opportunity to have her own created was an amazing experience. As a parent, and lover of photography (not to be confused with being a photographer) these are images that will be treasured memories for years to come. I can take pictures, but I am NOT an artist. I have found that one of the most difficult things to accept, as a parent, is to realize your children aren’t babies anymore and before your very eyes, they have grown up into young adults. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t even ready to think about senior pictures for Kylie when she was contacted about being a Senior Rep. for Loker Photography. This meant I had to actually accept that my youngest was going to be graduating High School very soon. From the very first meeting, I was blown away by the talent, creativity, and passion that Nathan had for capturing the photographs of these young adults. Kylie’s experience over the last year was nothing short of amazing. Nathan has a great eye for beauty. There were days when I thought the shoot was going to be a bust due to weather, but Nathan shocked me by producing amazing shots that I had only seen in magazines.
